What a fun show!
So here's the quick show run down. 1st Donnie rick rolled the crowd. Saying, "Hi
we are smoochknob, & then he sang, never gonna give you up" & then had the crowd sing along. LOL. Then he announced that Javi was Gavin's little brother & asked Javi how Gav treated him when they were kids. Javi replied "he was a nice older brother" Then the crowd was very receptive. Bush were gracious hosts. Such awesome band! |

In studio for a few months..
We are in the studio for a few months working on DRIVE BY HIGH FIVE. Our first Drd Records full length release. We are excited! So far 27 new songs layed down. All on analog. 14 to 16 of them will make the cut. New album will be in stores 2012 Fall. First single will be released in April with a video single out at the same time. Check back for updates & maybe some samples of what we're laying down. PS - Donnie's sons visited the studio (kids in the pics) and Lisa his wife put down some bass on a few songs.

JUNIOR HIGH ANTHEMS is officially in the can. (7.19.11)
It's been a productive week. We just finished the mastering on Junior High Anthems. Thanks to David Pollock from Supernatural Sound Mastering. 15 tracks on the album. Some old school Smooch songs that have never been released officially. Songs like 6 Million $ Man, Connie is a Dyke & Rockstar. Now you can take them home with you. Plus a re-release of our 2001 West Coast hit song Weirdo. There's also new tracks like Great Duane, Taco Bell & more. This album is to get out some of the songs our Smooch army loves finally on a disc. CD Release Party is 9.17.2011 at Dantes in Portland, Oregon. In stores nationwide 9.20. 2011

Smoochknob signs with DRD RECORDS (7.02.11)
We are excited to announce that Smoochknob has signed a new recording contract with DRD RECORDS. There are two releases planned in the next year. Junior High Anthems in September 2011 & Drive By High Five in April 2012. Look for SK on tour. Midwest / East Coast in Spring & Fall of 2012 & beyond. With West Coast dates in between. DRD has us in the studio for the next month and then again September to January 2012. There are two videos planned for the Drive By High Five album & Junior High Anthems first single Weirdo has just been release. Watch Weirdo Video. We can't wait to get all the new songs out to our Smooch army!
